Trusting GOD

This bookmark is a reminder to intentionally and actively trust GOD—no matter how or when the enemy attacks our minds to persuade us otherwise. The devil is cunning, working to give us what I call “spiritual amnesia,” making us forget GOD’s blessings, miracles, signs, and wonders that He has already performed in our lives. He tries to convince us that GOD isn’t listening, that He won’t come through, and then slowly distracts us until our prayer life weakens and our focus drifts.

The enemy knows the power we carry in GOD’s Kingdom, so he aims to disconnect us from prayer, praise, and worship. Too often, we fall into complacency without realizing it. But we must fight—with everything in us—to stay the course. We fight with The WORD of GOD. We fight by putting on the Whole Armor of GOD (Ephesians 6:10–18). We fight by praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We fight by recalling and standing on His Holy Word, using it against the enemy to our advantage.
